Free Fall tells the story of Jeremy, a high school senior who finds love with Molly, an adventurous girl who helps him overcome his anxieties. Their bond grows, culminating in a proposal at an amusement park's Free Fall ride. However, after Molly is diagnosed with terminal cancer, their joy is marred by tragedy when she dies during the ride on their wedding day. Left heartbroken, Jeremy finds strength in their love as he faces life without her.
